This tool models combat probabilistically, not through dice simulation. It assumes averaged, consistent performance each round. Real D&D combat is far more chaotic. DPR figures should represent your best estimate of average output including hit chance, damage dice, and bonus action economy. The nova multiplier assumes the party coordinates their resource expenditure; misuse will skew results significantly. Healing is applied as a flat per-round value, adjusted for doctrine efficiency, and does not account for action cost, concentration, or conditional triggers. Lethality is derived from a margin-based timeline comparison, not a statistical distribution. Treat it as a directional signal, not a precise figure. Legendary actions are modeled as flat multipliers. AoE and high-variance effects scale with Save DC vs party Save Bonus. A high DC against low-save characters is meaningfully more dangerous than a low DC against a well-defended party. This tool is intended to help players and DMs sanity-check combat risk, not replace playtesting or table judgment.
